Needs-based segmentation at Eneco (utilities)

On November 23rd 2018, Roel Verdickt, Strategic Insights leader at Eneco Belgium and Jan Muermans, Senior Analytics Consultant at Python Predictions illustrated Eneco’s journey towards being more relevant to customers. The presentation was held at the Data and Marketing Automation Summit in Brussels, and was a hands-on testimony about how survey data can be used for predicting (individual) customers’ needs, how you can get involvement from business around such a project and how the results are being used today to better serve customers. Put differently, how to create personas in a data driven way, and make sure data and data science have concrete impact – in this case churn reduction.
