Since 2006, Wouter Buckinx is co-founder and managing partner at Python Predictions. Wouter is a master in applied economics, an advanced master in marketing analysis, and concluded his PhD in the domain of predicting individual customer behavior at Ghent University in 2005. He is clearly customer oriented, and an expert in delivering tailor-made, robust solutions.
Since 2006, Geert Verstraeten is co-founder and managing partner at Python Predictions. He is a master in applied economics, an advanced master in marketing analysis, and concluded his PhD in predictive analytics in 2005. At Python Predictions, Geert focuses on general management, project management and training. His ambition is to coach analysts and their managers to become successful with predictive analytics.
Pieter is a senior analyst at Python Predictions, after joining us in 2010. Pieter is a master in applied economics and an advanced master in marketing analysis. He has built extensive domain experience in a wide range of industries, working on diverse analytical projects in predictive analytics and process mining.
At Python Predictions, Pieter has the role of analytical expert and is mainly involved in project management.
Nele is a senior analyst at Python Predictions, after joining us in 2014. She holds a master’s degree in mathematical computer science and a PhD in computer science, both from Ghent University.
At Python Predictions, she developed several predictive models and recommendation systems in the fields of banking, retail and utilities. Nele has a keen interest in big data technologies and business applications.
Klaas joined Python Predictions in 2016 and combines a master in bio-engineering with an advanced master in economics. After working abroad in the non-profit sector, he has built experience in advanced analytics and predictive modeling for several years within the financial sector and in fundraising. At Python Predictions, he will be working mainly on projects in the telecommunications industry.
Jan is an analyst at Python Predictions since August 2015. He has a master in Business Engineering from the University of Leuven, where he specialised in the fields of statistics and optimisation. Jan started his career in FMCG, where he obtained strong business understanding. He combines this with an inquisitive mindset to help organizations distill maximal business value from their data.
In 2014, Olivier joined Python Predictions as an analyst. Olivier is a master in applied economics and an advanced master in marketing analysis at Ghent University. Before Python Predictions, Olivier was active as a customer intelligence analyst for a key player in the Belgian retail market.
At Python Predictions, Olivier is involved in acquisition, churn, segmentation and demand forecasting projects within retail, utilities and banking.
Guillaume joined Python Predictions as an analyst in January 2016. He acquired his master of Business Engineering at the University of Brussels and developed his first modeling experience during his master thesis. After his studies, Guillaume was active as a researcher in areas such as segmentation and preference forecasting.
At Python Predictions, Guillaume primarily develops predictive analyses for the telecommunication market.
In 2016, Sofie joined Python Predictions as an analyst. Sofie is a master in civil engineering and advanced master in water resources engineering and statistical data analysis. Before Python Predictions, Sofie was active as a project engineer in an engineering and consultancy company specialized in a vast range of water related projects.
In 2009, Kristof joined Python Predictions as a Research Associate. He is Full Professor of Marketing Analytics, Director of the Expertise Center for Marketing Analytics and Academic Director of MSc in Big Data Analytics for Business at IÉSEG School of Management (Lille|Paris, France).
At Python Predictions, Kristof is responsible for fine-tuning existing methodologies and setting up innovative research projects.
